【外交部重申我國南海立場　攜手各方守護區域和平穩定】

外交部重申，我國對南海諸島的主權主張與相關政策始終一致，並持續秉持「四點原則」，推動和平、對話與合作：

✅ 南海爭端應依據國際法及海洋法，包括《聯合國海洋法公約》，以和平方式解決
✅ 台灣應納入多邊爭端解決機制
✅ 相關國家有義務維護南海航行及飛越自由
✅ 主張應以「擱置爭議、共同開發」方式處理南海爭端，並願在平等協商基礎上，和相關國家共同促進南海區域和平與穩定，並共同保護及開發南海資源

作為國際社會負責任的一員及南海重要利益關係方，外交部呼籲任何涉及南海區域行為規範及我國權益的討論，都不應排除我國參與，才能確保討論的正當性。

外交部 Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ROC（Taiwan） 也再次強調，反對任何單邊擴張、灰色地帶脅迫、軍事化部署及其他破壞和平的行為，呼籲各方恪守國際法及以和平方式處理爭端，避免採取任何升高緊張、製造衝突或破壞區域和平穩定之作為。

🤝我國將以太平島為基礎，在南海地區推動海事合作、環境保育、人道救援及科學研究，充分展現台灣積極促進區域和平穩定及共同開發之負責任態度，並與理念相近國家及區域夥伴攜手合作，共同維護南海和平穩定、航行與飛越自由，以及自由、開放、和平與穩定的國際秩序。

MOFA reiterates Taiwan’s position on South China Sea; calls on all parties to jointly safeguard regional peace and stability!

MOFA reaffirms that the sovereignty claims and relevant policies of the ROC (Taiwan) regarding the South China Sea Islands remain unchanged. Taiwan adheres to the following four principles for South China Sea issues:

✅ Disputes in the South China Sea should be resolved peacefully in accordance with international law and the law of the sea, including the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea;
✅ Taiwan should be included in multilateral dispute settlement mechanisms;
✅ Relevant countries have an obligation to safeguard freedom of navigation and overflight in the South China Sea; and
✅ The ROC advocates addressing South China Sea disputes in line with the principles of setting aside differences and promoting joint development. Through negotiations conducted on the basis of equality, it is willing to work with other countries to advance regional peace and stability and protect and develop South China Sea resources.

Taiwan is a responsible member of the international community and a key stakeholder in the South China Sea. MOFA reiterates that Taiwan must not be excluded from any discussions concerning its rights and interests or the norms of conduct in the region so as to ensure the legitimacy of such discussions.

MOFA opposes any unilateral expansionism, gray-zone coercion, militarization, and other behaviour that undermines peace in the South China Sea. It calls on all relevant parties to strictly abide by international law, honor the principle of peaceful settlement of disputes, and refrain from taking any actions that escalate tensions, create conflict, and undermine regional peace and stability.

🤝Using Taiping Island as a base, Taiwan promotes maritime cooperation, environmental conservation, humanitarian assistance, and scientific research in the South China Sea, fully demonstrating its commitment to advancing regional peace, stability, and joint development. Taiwan will continue to work with like-minded countries and regional partners to jointly uphold peace, stability, and freedom of navigation and overflight in the South China Sea, and ensure a free, open, peaceful, and stable international order.
