Memorial Sunday

We were honored to attend the 133rd Memorial Service of the Boston Fire Department at Forest Hills Cemetery.

Box 2-7334

At approximately 03:00 hrs., Boston Fire Alarm struck Box 7334, for a reported structure fire located at 729 East 3rd Street in the South Boston Section (Southie) of the City.

Arriving companies had heavy fire showing from the rear of the 3 Story wood frame, multi family building. Fire jumped to 731
East 3rd; the B Side exposure of the original fire building and a 2nd alarm was ordered.

A10 responded on the 2nd.

Pre-chilled Gatorade
Pre-chilled Water
Cold/wet towels
Snacks
Frozen Hydration Pops
1 Blanket for a Pet Cat

A10 returned at 06:00 hrs.
Eight residents were displaced and assisted by the BFD Victims Assistance Unit and the Red Cross.

1 firefighter was transported.

Box 3-2126

At approximately 05:30 hrs., Quincy Fire struck their Box 2126 for a reported structure fire located at 21 Harrison Street , in the Quincy Point Section of the City.

First due companies had heavy fire showing from the rear of the large 2 1/2 story, multi family building. .
A 2nd alarm was transmitted, followed by by a 3rd.

A10 responded on the 2nd Alarm

40lbs Ice
Misting Fan
Rehab Seating
Tent for shade

7 occupants were displaced and unfortunately 3 pets perished.

A10 returned at 11:30 hrs.
