Farmer Flory Sanderson started with one goat and has built to become a beloved agroutourism destination on PEI. Guests can meet goats, alpacas, bunnies, horses, Highland cows, and Gavin the donkey. In addition to the animals, the farm has a gift shop, market, a multi-use barn, Victorian gardens, and a year-round café. For sale are fresh eggs, lamb and goat meat, goat milk soap and a variety of skincare products, and fibre arts supplies.
"As little girls, we didn't realize farmers could be female," she says. Now she's joined by daughter Rebecca and granddaughter, Floralee.

Little Dutch Flower Farm hosted "Garden Whispers," a garden party celebrating Lucy Maud Montgomery’s 150th birthday on August 22, 2024. Owner Shellilee Ballum guided participants in picking flowers and creating their own floral arrangements while snacking on pastries with edible flowers from Sweet Things Bakery.
