Created by the labor movement in the late 19th century and becoming a federal holiday in 1894, Labor Day pays tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers on the first Monday every September.

So, let’s take a beat today to express our gratitude to every single member of the team that makes what we do possible. Here’s to the carpenters, the fire departments, the police departments, the city hall staff, the masons, the plumbers, the electricians, the metal workers, the utility and power companies, the plans examiners, the inspectors, the property managers, the supers, the PMs, the painters, the movers, the cleaners, the concierges, the machinists, the excavators, the roofers, the landscapers, the engineers, the public works, water & sewer and transportation departments, the fabricators, and the general laborer for hire.

Further, here’s to those who thanklessly get their hands dirty outside of the traditional scope of their roles (you know who you are).
