I'm sure Carl is smiling in heaven. He wanted Wade Boggs' number retired by the Red Sox for years. He's finally getting his wish tomorrow. :-)

To celebrate the Boston Media game (scheduled for Friday, July 10th), this is a photo of the 2006 Boston Media Team that played at Fenway Park. Good luck Boston Media Team!

Carl got to do many fun things in his spare time. One day he was a guest on Dave McKay's Baseball Heads Show.

I know that Nikki misses her dad every day, but even more on Father's Day. He was so proud of his daughter, and his granddaughters. I'm sure he would have loved Stella as much as he loved Nikki, Maddie and Gena.

In honor of Flag Day, Carl loved wearing his flag shirt, he was very patriotic. He never walked past a member of the military without stopping a moment to thank them for their service.

Carl recorded many books for The Perkins School. He wanted to help those who couldn't read a book to be able to enjoy them. He was invited to a special day at The Perkins School in 2008, it was called "Perkins Fenway Day". Several baseball related authors were in attendance and Carl was thrilled that his friend Johnny Pesky was there. I've also included a photo of Carl's good friend Ken Meyer. who is an inductee in the Massachusetts Broadcasters Hall of Fame (inducted in 2011).

From the Boston Media game in 2005. Carl loved his job as the manager of the Boston Media Team. It was one of the highlights of his life!
