Why photograph buildings and why photograph people when you can do both at the same time? —> has been the major photography revelation for me this year. Something about architecture and all the shapes and lines of buildings/windows/walls really pleases my eye, but the more I photograph people, the more I find myself naturally placing them within that context. Something about that combo feels so powerful to me — like it’s not just about the building anymore and it’s not just about the person, either — it’s about the context, which is bigger than both the building and the person by themselves. // model: Kwaku
