inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'oon (To God we belong, and to Him is our return)
*Brother Md Shafi Ullah Miahjee, age 62, originally from Bangladesh, and living in South Boston, passed away.*
*His Janaza Prayer will be on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 11:00am at the Islamic Cultural Center of Medford (43 High Street, Medford, MA 02155).*
*His Burial will follow at Cedar Knoll Cemetery (175 Staples Street, East Taunton, MA 02718).*
O Allah, forgive him and have mercy upon him, excuse him and pardon him, and cleanse him with water, snow, and ice, and purify him of sin as a white robe is purified of filth. O Allah, exchange his home for a better home, and his family for a better family. Admit him in Paradise as his ultimate home, protect him from the punishment of the grave and the torment of the fire. O Allah, grant patience to his family and friends and provide them with strength and strong iman to recover from this difficult loss. Ameen.
We extend our sincere condolences to the family and their loved ones and ask Allah to grant them patience.

*His Janaza Prayer will be today, Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 6:00pm at the Islamic Society of the North Shore (35 Lynnfield Street, Lynn, MA 01904).*
*His Burial will take place in Bangladesh.*

*Brother Daouda Bagnou, age 58, originally from Niger, living in Bedford, Massachusetts, passed away.*
*Brother Daouda was discovered unresponsive by his roommate several weeks ago. He is currently at the medical examiner's office. Brother Daouda leaves behind two minor children from a previous marriage.*
*We have set up a donation page online to help the family cover the Janaza expenses. Please donate generously with the intention to ease their burden and to ease the pain from their loss. They are our family.*
