OUR STORY
Alumni Funds was an idea born out of a conversation between alumni of Memphis Sound Drum and Bugle Corps who wanted to jointly fund a scholarship to pay for the drum corps tuition of a deserving corps member.
While discussing how to promote this scholarship, the friends realized there was no existing place specifically to match up funders with students and marching members in need of tuition assistance.
Since then, we have expanded our vision beyond the drum corps community with the goal of connecting artists and performers of all kinds with funding opportunities. Alumni Funds provides a platform to create custom performing arts scholarships. Alumni Funds gives those who have experienced the benefits of these activities an organized way to give back and stay connected to the activity by creating opportunities for current and future performers.
