It is with sorrow that the Department of Political Science announces that our dear friend and colleague William D. "Woody" Kay has passed away. Professor Kay was an accomplished scholar, a devoted teacher and mentor, and a kind and thoughtful colleague. His service to the department, the College of Social Sciences and Humanities, and the university over several decades was exemplary. He will be missed. We extend our deepest sympathy to his family and loved ones.
