The end of an era.

This is one of my favorite photos of Matt Noyes and me. We were field anchoring in a cold downpour on Marathon Monday in 2018. He never complained about the weather that morning, unlike me.

After 10 years of working together and more than 20 of knowing each other, I am going to miss this guy tremendously. Matt is a consummate professional. At work early and home late. He dedicated his life to NBC10 and NECN. He is one of the hardest workers I have ever known. And beyond that, he was someone I could lean on in the office whenever I needed to talk about something. Matt, may your final morning memo say: Please sleep in today. You’ve earned it.
