someone described me as being tenacious yesterday. And my husband replied, "oh, if only you knew". 🤓

i often find myself wondering if I have what it takes to persist through the trials of a start-up. If I have the intelligence to create something that's functional, efficient and desired.

and then I look back at the last 2.5 years and see that through all the trials, the tears, the sleepless nights, the sacrifices, the trading of social outings for late night preps and shouldering the weariness of showing up m-f to provide for my family as a professional by day, while consciously choosing to moonlight as an entrepreneur by night, while also cultivating and growing family - is like crafting a picture puzzle with jumbled and unorganized pieces.

truthfully, this endeavor is pushing me to my limits, while simultaneously creating internal growth, circumventing perfectionist tendencies and showing me that you don't have to know how, you just have to start.
you just have to keep going.
you just have to persist, and that persistence breeds success.
i'm not talking about monetary success.
i'm talking about seeing a dream become reality and resisting the urge to white flag it when it's not going how you thought, planned, envisioned or expected.

success in my book, is defined when I see other women learn alongside me, find THEIR own confidence, persistence, personal growth and reward.

so, if someone ever describes you as tenacious, just know it's CRUCIAL in the journey to one's personal success!
