The Gift and Obligation of Unity.
We live in a culture with deep divisions created by race, class, citizenship, gender, political leanings, and ideologies. Today we start a three-part series that explores the themes of the Belhar Confession, a statement of faith that emerged from South African Christians who opposed apartheid. We begin by exploring the Bible’s teaching on unity. Unity is both a gift of God and an obligation for those who truly follow Jesus. Establishing and guarding unity takes effort, but the rewards of experiencing joyful diversity are worth the effort.

We are starting our Homless Feed today and are now taking donations of socks, gloves, hats, blankets, ponchos, hard warmers, and anything to add to womens hygiene bags. If you would like to drop any of these items off feel free to during office hours Mon.- Wed. 9am to 3pm or at our Sunday service at 10am.

Explore how we, as Christians, through love and acceptance, can be the gospel for those who have too often been rejected by religious people and Christian churches.

Break-out sessions will provide practical tools for communicating the love of Christ to our LGBTQ+ friends, neighbors, and relatives. All who wish to expand the scope of their love to include LGBTQ+ are welcome to attend. Free Event. For more info: [email protected]
