Take Action – Closing the Funding Gaps

School districts are in financial crisis. Critical funding gaps persist in special education, Materials, Supplies, and Operating Costs (MSOC), and student transportation. These large shortfalls must be addressed to ensure the fiscal stability of districts and avoid budget cuts that negatively impact student outcomes.

Please take a moment to ask legislators to prioritize K-12 education funding by closing the existing gaps, so that state funding reflects and keeps pace with actual costs. Encourage them to support HB 1310 and SSB 5263 (special education), HB 1338 and SB 5192 (MSOC), and HB 1579 and SB 5187 (student transportation). Parent voice matters!
