🥩 Instant Pot Beef Shank, this recipe will also work for a chuck roast and thicker cuts of meat!

-Pat beef shank dry and season generously with unrefined sea salt and desired seasonings I love doing garlic, onion, sometimes cumin or shawarma mixture.
-Sauté (optional but recommended)
Turn Instant Pot to Sauté. Add a little tallow or coconut oil.
Sear beef shank on all sides until browned (about 2–3 minutes per side).
-Turn off then add about 2-3 cups of water to cool down then drizzle rice vinegar over meat
-Add in roots, herbs, or veggies (taters + mushrooms are our fav additions)
-Pressure cook: Secure lid and set to “Stew, 2:22”
-Once it beeps release the pressure, stand back if its you’re first time operating a pressure cooker 😆
-After pressure is released remove lid and any herb stems.
-Shank should be fall-apart tender with rich, gelatinous broth. 😋
-optional to serve over basmati or jasmine rice.
