Did you know that even a “typical” design can achieve higher performance through the integration of Passive House principles? At KATA by Design, we look forward to applying these insights to refine the details of our own projects—advancing both sustainability and design integrity.

In this home, the insulation and air-tightness were so effective that one of the primary mechanical systems isn’t traditional heating and cooling, but rather the integration of clean, thermally treated ventilated air. The precision of the window performance and the meticulous consideration of structural thermal breaks were equally impressive.

It was an absolute pleasure to experience this home firsthand. Not only is it beautifully executed at every detail, but its performance is exceptional—a true model of sustainable design excellence.
