Bonjour Mistral

On Sunday, December 8th, at the invitation of the Archbishop of Paris, nearly 170 bishops from France and around the globe will participate in a celebration alongside one priest from each of the 106 parishes in the Diocese of Paris, and one priest from each of the seven Eastern Catholic Churches, accompanied by faithfuls.

The consecration of the altar will be carried out in five steps:
1/ The relics of five saints will be placed and sealed in the altar
2/ The prayer of dedication will be recited
3/ There will be an anointing with oil, the central moment of the consecration
4/ There will be an offering of incense
5/ The altar will be adorned and illuminated

This Mass will be followed by a meal to welcome the most disadvantaged and those who support them daily through charitable organizations in the Diocese of Paris.
