📢 We're excited to share the latest publication in Nature Medicine: "Proteomic changes upon treatment with semaglutide in individuals with obesity."

Researchers at Novo Nordisk used the SomaScan™ platform to study the effects of semaglutide on blood proteins, providing new insights into the drug’s impact on metabolic health beyond weight loss and glucose regulation.

Key highlights:
👉 Standard BioTools’ SomaScan™ Assay was used to profile approximately 6,400 unique human proteins in nearly 2,000 participants
👉 The data provided insights into disease mechanisms and drug repurposing opportunities and highlighted the value of measuring changes in blood proteins in response to weight loss drugs
