KGNU Community Radio
KGNU is listener-supported, volunteer-powered, independent news & eclectic music for the Front Range.
The most honest way to fund KGNU is simple: the people who listen.
With government funding no longer supporting public media, it’s up to our community to keep the music, voices, and stories going strong. A monthly gift of just $15 helps fuel every track you hear and keeps independent radio alive.
If KGNU is part of your daily life, please consider becoming a member today at KGNU.org.
Just over 1 million people in the U.S. are living with Parkinson’s disease. There’s no cure, but research shows that certain types of exercise can help manage symptoms, including problems with balance and coordination.
Maeve Conran visited one boxing gym in Boulder where people with Parkinson’s are building strength, confidence and community. She spoke with KGNU volunteer Steve Miller about his experience.
