This is Ra of Bandhavgarh. I saw her last year when her 4 cubs were about 4-5 months old. We saw Ra on our 2nd game drive by herself - hey, she has 4 cubs and needs some alone time! A throuple in the jungle! Tiger #1 is Ghangar - she's about 7 yrs. Tiger #2 is DD (Digdola) - he's 4-5 yrs. Tiger on his back is MV Male (son of MV3, earlier post). There was a fight which we did not see. MV Male and Ghangar mated and he appears to have a tiny wound on his side which might explain why we saw him on his back multiple times throughout the previous day. On day 2 we saw DD and Ghangar together so we thought they mated until closer inspection of facial markings. DD is at the water body with his distinctive markings. Meet MV3, a 10yr old female who has 2 cubs now from her 3rd litter. My goodness, she rolled around on the road and put on a show! Tigers love the sandy roads - you'll often see them walking in the sand and we saw numerous body imprints of tigers lying in the sand.
