2026 is bringing something special to Rocky Ridge Music Center.
As the U.S. marks 250 years, we’re opening the door to one of its most iconic art forms: jazz.
For the first time ever, Junior Artist Seminar students can explore a brand-new Jazz Elective, designed to break down the essentials of how jazz works, from harmony to style. And for those ready to go deeper, the new Jazz Major offers ensemble playing, improvisation, composition, and one-on-one mentorship with acclaimed educator Dave Hammond, joined by multi-instrumentalist Greg Harris.
That’s not all. We’ve added a new Adult Piano Seminar (June 16–21, 2026), featuring Artist-Teachers Larry Graham, Michael Lenahan, and Michael Sheppard. Think private cabins, daily practice time, masterclasses, and evenings spent in the mountains with a community that lives and breathes music.
