One of the weirdest hiring lessons I've ever learned had nothing to do with hiring.
It started with four letters.
INTJ.
INFJ.
ENTP.
When someone suggested putting Myers-Briggs on our careers page, I thought...
*"That's going to scare people away."*
Turns out, it did.
The wrong people.
And it attracted exactly the kind of people we wanted.
That's when it clicked for me.
Marketing isn't just about copy.
It's about identity.
The symbols, labels, and language you use tell people, *"This is for someone like you."*
Most people think attraction starts after someone applies.
It starts the second they land on your website.
Hiring is marketing.
The best candidates don't just find you...
They feel like they belong before they ever click "Apply."

Apparently my approach to hiring is a little... too deep. š
I tried uploading it into Delphi so it could share my genius with the world, but somewhere along the way I think I broke it.
To be fair, talent acquisition is one of my favorite topics, and once I get started... I tend to go down the rabbit hole.
So Audrey and I decided we'll just break it down ourselves.
We call it **The Growth Model for Talent.**
Every time I hire someone, there are **3 things** I look at before anything else.
1ļøā£ Aptitude over experience.
2ļøā£ Time tracking that actually tells you who's creating leverage vs who's staying busy.
3ļøā£ ...you'll have to wait for tomorrow's full video drop. š
If you're building a team, this one might change the way you hire forever.

I don't think Oren's business is YouTube.
I think it's pattern recognition.
YouTube just happens to be where he publishes his findings.
Spend enough time around him and you'll notice something.
He isn't collecting tactics.
He's collecting evidence.
Every hook.
Every thumbnail.
Every intro.
Every failed test.
Every breakout video.
It's all feeding one giant mental model of how attention actually works.
That's the part you don't get from a 20-minute video.
You get the answer.
Not the operating system.
That's what we're doing in Boulder.
Not another event.
A room where people explain how they think before they explain what they do.
That's considerably more valuable.

One of my favorite things about Oren...
..is that he quietly destroys certainty.
Not confidence.
Certainty.
You tell him,
"We've figured out our content."
He asks a question.
You tell him,
"This style always works."
He asks another question.
You tell him,
"The algorithm changed."
He smiles.
An hour later you're questioning assumptions you've held for years.
That's an incredibly rare skill.
Most experts give answers.
The best ones change the quality of your questions.
That's why Oren is coming to Boulder.
Not to teach you YouTube.
To teach you how to think about attention.
And once you understand attention...
The platform almost stops mattering.

Dan Bilzerian has 30 million followers. Cool number. Not the number we cared about.
Once you factor in retargeting, his real addressable audience was closer to 75 million people. Thatās the number that actually matters.
We came in to build the whole go-to-market for Sigma Society, his menās brotherhood membership. No CEO, no COO, no one running growth. Just a massive audience and no system built to actually convert it.
So thatās what we built.
Everyone in this space (yeah, Tateās Real World, I said it) only talks about money. We went a different direction: wealth, women, wellness. The full package, not just āget rich.ā
Before spending a single dollar on ads, we simulated the entire funnel. Email, organic, retargeting, landing pages, video sales letter, checkout. Ran the math at 25% conversion per stage on a $500-600 core offer.
The projection: $63M over 14 months, $35M net at over 50% margin.
For reference, other brands in the portfolio did $68M combined in 2022 at similar margins, and that took them three years to build up to. Sigma Society had the audience from day one, so there was no ramp-up period to wait through.
The offer stack was simple.
But the distribution wasnt...

Ryan has accidentally built the best business podcast on the internet.
Which is unfortunate...
Because now I have to compete with all the people stealing ideas from it.
Honestly, I preferred when nobody knew who he was.
Now heās coming to Boulder. I guess weāll have to share.

If youāre trying to go from 0 to 1, I honestly think youād be crazy not to use the tools that give you the biggest head start.
Too many people spend months trying to build the perfect setup before they even have a customer.
Iāve done it.
Itās a great way to stay busy without actually moving.
The founders who get there the fastest usually arenāt building everything from scratch.
Theyāre finding the platform that lets them move the fastest.
Especially if youāre trying to build a business without spending months piecing together software.
Could you build it somewhere else?
Sure.
But when youāre going from zero to one, speed matters more than perfection.
Get the business working first.
You can always rebuild it later.
Iām like the Kawhi of marketing⦠š
Whenās the last time you actually sat down and funnel hacked someone?
It might seem like a waste of time, but every time I do it I walk away with at least one new idea. A better affiliate flow. A smarter checkout. A cleaner upsell. Something I can test.
Thatās the game.
Because I donāt know about you, but I want to be the best at what I do.
This time I picked up a few new affiliate strategies⦠and I mightāve found a way to beat the Lakers too. š

Shhhhhh... š¤«
I definitely DIDN'T just jailbreak a funnel.
You all know me...
Would I really do something like that?
Actually... don't answer that. š³
What you do know is that I love learning from people who are crushing it just as much as I love building new things.
Do we steal?
No.
Do we study, reverse engineer, and get inspired by great marketing?
Absolutely.
And just because this little jailbreak might lead to what I can only assume will be millions in affiliate credits from my X post... doesn't make it any more suspicious. š
The full-funnel hack drops tomorrow.
Until then... go show my X post some love š
