This cabin west of Jamestown, Colorado is holding up pretty well, but it's easy to see why flimsier structures sometimes fail catastrophically during the winter.

When I first found this little building in the mountains northwest of Eldora, Colorado decades ago, it was in much better condition, and I thought it was just a small cabin, but having seen a lot of powder houses since then, I now think this is one too.
