After 38 years at Folsom and Spruce, Hoshi Motors epic move to 55th Street between Pearl Street and Valmont has arrived! We open Monday, March 21st. Thanks to our community for the great support. We look forward to serving you in our new and improved space! We will miss being downtown. The property was sold, so it was time for a fresh start. We have awesome neighbors in our new digs including the Baby Goat, Liberty Puzzles, and several creatives. Happy spring!

We have exciting news! Hoshi Motors is moving to 55th and Valmont. The shop will be closed the week of March 14-18 for the move. We will be operating at our new location starting Monday, March 21. We will be located just to the left of the Baby Goat. We look forward to seeing you there.

The protected bike lane proposed for Folsom has been a hot topic lately. In this article from the Washington Post Eben Weiss (Bike Snob) weighs in on the historical context of public thoroughfares.
"See, in the early days of the motor vehicle, there used to be this quaint idea that the person operating the giant machine should look out for other people. Then came mass production and the Model T. Suddenly there were automobiles all over the place, and by the end of the 1920s, cars (or, more accurately, their drivers) had killed more than 200,000 people."

Don’t make bicyclists more visible. Make drivers stop hitting them. Mandatory helmet laws and glow-in-the-dark spray paint just show who really owns the roads.
