Nico is a 5(ish) year old Terrier Mix weighing about 16lbs. Nico was dumped at an overcrowded shelter in South Texas. Since the shelter was so overfull and adoptions in that area are rare, the shelter reached out to us since he was a staff favorite, asking if we could help save him. Of course we couldn't say no.

Nico has now been in CO a couple weeks and he is ready to find his forever family. Nico's favorite activity is snuggling with his human/s. The very first night he got to his fosters home he fell asleep on top of her chest. He loves very hard and is a loyal little buddy. He gets along well with other dogs, cats and all humans. Here is what his foster Momma has to say about him: "Nico is a fun and sweet boy! He loves to be around people and enjoy a good zoomy around the yard. He’s curious and has a lot of personality He is active and would love to go on walks with his human followed by a day of snuggles and love. He loves to snuggle whether you’re on the sofa or sleeping right next to you. He is doing great on potty training, but just needs a little bit of patience till he figures it out completely. He would do well in a home with other dogs but is totally fine being an only dog as his humans are definately his focus."
