Glowing Goose Productions is seeking a "Hedwig" for their production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch at DV8 September 12, 13, and 14!

Hedwig: any age/gender, $300 rehearsal stipend + percentage of ticket sales

We are looking for a charismatic performer capable of carrying this (essentially) one-person show! We are especially interested in individuals with drag experience and/or a performer with personal experience of gender nonconformity. "Hedwig" is a physically and emotionally demanding role, and we are looking for an excellent actor/improviser who can sing lead vocals in a rock band.

Please send a video of you performing (in the style of the show if possible) to artistic director Sarah at [email protected] by Sunday, August 4. This can be a performance in front of an audience, or you rocking out in your bedroom. Please include a sample of your singing, acting, and physicality (if these are all contained in one video, even better!). We will reach out about in-person callbacks!
