Local playwright, Curtis K. Rogers, spoke with YWCA Boulder County about his play on gentrification of a Black neighborhood, 13 Fires, and how theater became his gateway to understanding Black history, displacement and resistance.

13 Fires will be showing on Juneteenth at the Longmont Theatre Company, and from June 24-26 at the Dairy Arts Center . There will also be Panel Discussions on June 8th and 22nd: "13 Fires: Displacement by Design".
