We're in the second half of 2026, and that makes now a good time to check in on your goals.

Maybe you're aiming to finish your exam prep and sit for the test. Maybe you're working on a new certification, building better study habits, or finally setting boundaries that protect your time and energy.

Whatever it is, write it down. A goal you can see is easier to work toward than one floating around in your head.

Independence means something different to everyone, and as a social worker, you often sit with people for whom freedom, safety, and opportunity are still works in progress.

Today is a good day to rest, recharge, and spend time with the people who matter to you. It's also a day to reflect on the values that brought you to this field in the first place, including dignity, justice, and the belief that everyone deserves a fair shot.

Social workers have a unique responsibility on Social Media Day. These platforms are powerful tools for advocacy and community building, but they also require us to be mindful of ethics and privacy. 𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘧𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘴 𝘸𝘦 𝘶𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘴.

Use your voice to lift others, share resources, and challenge misinformation when you see it. But always remember to maintain professional boundaries and protect the dignity of the people we serve, even in digital spaces. Our online presence is an extension of our professional identity.

When reading exam vignettes, pay close attention to what the question is not asking. It is easy to read into a scenario by adding details from your own past cases or personal experiences that aren't actually on the page.

𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙩. If the question doesn't mention a history of substance use or a specific diagnosis, do not choose an answer that assumes those factors are present. Learning to ignore your own clinical assumptions and focusing only on the provided facts prevents you from falling into common "distractor" traps.

This disciplined approach ensures your answers are aligned with the standardized logic the exam expects.
