Here's some more info:

1. Before you buy a home, we need to narrow down exactly what you're looking for. Certain types of properties may fit better depending on your lifestyle and plans for the future, so we want to narrow down your needs in a home to make sure you're getting the best place for you.

2. If you plan on financing your home, it's incredibly important that you speak to a lender early on. They'll be able to tell you exactly how much you can afford, so we know what to look for.

3. It's always important to have an emergency fund of a few months in case something happens to your income or you have an unexpected financial crisis. This will allow you to continue paying the bills every month until you can get on your feet. This is something that you can continue building after buying your home, but it's important to make a plan for exactly how much you need and how you can make it happen.

4. If you plan on financing your purchase, it's always a good idea to make sure your credit score is as high as possible before getting your mortgage. This is another reason why I suggest people speak to a lender early on, because they'll be able to tell you exactly where you need to be and what you can do to get there if you're not already.
