Please welcome the newest members of our union family – professionals at the City Bar Justice Center, who voted this month to join OPEIU Local 153/Nonprofit Employees United. The City Bar Justice Center provides pro-bono legal services to low-income New Yorkers.

Employees across Western Washington sent a strong message to Management at Sea Mar Community Health today: It is unfair, inequitable, and unacceptable for Sea Mar to expect frontline workers to bear the brunt of this economic downturn through furloughs and wage freezes while executive leaders continue to remain financially whole. Sea Mar leadership needs to lead by example and share in the sacrifice by making cuts to their own executive pay now.
