There are two key advantages to creating “Depth” at the top.

1. As the hand path works outward, it shallows the pitch of the shaft.

2. As the shaft shallows, that incentivizes the pivot to rotate, and that’s “one” of the key ingredients for clubhead speed 📐

This is an easy way to change a player's "Swing Direction" via how they pivot in the backswing and create a more "In-to-Out" pattern! Then add in a face that's left of that swing direction = Draws!
