STAFF: Clay was proud to set out his vision at the Brandon 042 political forum last night. His opponent failed to show for the event.

Clay specifically mentioned the new Parkway and its economic opportunities. He then emphasized how his background in construction, code compliance and infrastructure familiarity would be a valuable tool for the City during this development.

Yep, we need him. Workhorse.

And look at him at the table with two of his three girls. Awwwwww. We dare you to underestimate them.

Note: His sport coat looks white while he's speaking because of the blinding lights he comments on and because we wanted him to look like a doctor. It looks almost tie-dyed in the table picture as we were going for the hippie vote. It was neither. That jacket was nice. He was stylin'.

STAFF: There is an unconfirmed report that over 120 absentee ballots have been cast and that, in 2017 at this time, only 40 were cast. This election appears to have caught the voters' attention.

Please know that, if you believe your work will keep you from voting on Tuesday, or if you qualify due to age, health concerns or relocation, you may vote absentee today. Or tomorrow or Friday. Or from 8:00am-noon on Saturday. Please don't let this sneak up on you. Election day is only SIX DAYS away. Clay needs your help. PLEASE go vote today or tomorrow or Saturday if you qualify.
