10 years ago, I wish I understood this sooner: Stop taking advice from people who are not living the life you want.

Not everyone deserves access to your mind, your dreams, or your vision. I spent too much time listening to opinions from people who were not building, healing, growing, or becoming who I wanted to become.

Everybody has an opinion, but not everybody has wisdom.

Protect your vision. Filter the voices around you. Be careful who you allow to influence your decisions, because the wrong voices can distract you from your purpose.

Sometimes, growth requires learning to trust yourself and staying focused, even when others don’t understand your journey.

Growth will require uncomfortable decisions. Sometimes, the hardest part of stepping into a new season is letting go of people and situations you truly love, but are no longer aligned with where God is taking you.

Don’t confuse loyalty with staying stuck. Loyalty means loving people, respecting them, and wishing them well… not abandoning yourself or your growth.

Some people are meant for a season, not a lifetime. Let go with love,Let go with gratitude. And trust that what God removes or redirects is making room for what He has prepared for your next chapter.

Growth is painful sometimes… but staying in places that no longer align with your purpose is even more painful.
