When I got my Cricut back in 2020 during the pandemic, money was tight. This was a MASSIVE purchase for me. We were unsure about my husband’s job, and I was teaching English online until that suddenly ended. I thought I could use my Cricut to bring in some income, but then I learned you have to pay a subscription fee just to access their SVG files. I had no idea when I first bought the machine! Instead of giving up, I decided to figure it out on my own. I found Inkscape, a free program, and slowly taught myself how to design SVGs through YouTube videos, trial, and error. That journey is why I now make and share free SVG files, so others don’t have to worry about extra costs or hidden fees. Whether you’re using a Cricut, Silhouette, or Juliet, I want to be your crafty BFF and help make creating more affordable and fun.
