Role models- We all do a version of mirroring those we want to emulate, we gather the positive attributes of each person and try to mold ourselves into a version of that person or those key traits we want in ourselves. This might be a conglomeration of several people, pulling small parts from each people to ultimately make us into the person we are trying to be. If you can’t find a role model to chase, you need to mentally create one, a figure you want to become through your effort and commitment to becoming a better version of yourself. This version with morph and reshape as the years go on and with new information and experience, you will create the best version of yourself. Remember to constantly reevaluate for position and make sure you are representing your team, tribe, culture and community in everything you do and say. Stay humble and be willing to make the changes to achieve the goals you set out when you first started. This isn’t always going to be a quick change or show immediate results but over time you’ll feel your confidence and connection grow.
