As our residential school year comes to a close and students prepare for what’s next, we’re reminded of why Barnabas Prep exists and why this truly is one of the best places to work. Say hello to Maria!

This week's Student Spotlight goes to Maria! She is always willing to engage with activities, has a kind and generous spirit towards her friends, and has a servant heart wherever she goes. She is a leader and a great example to her peers in what it means to be independent.

Maria is a Barnabas Prep alumnus and just recently came back to jump in for the first year of the Day Program! Some of the main things you should know about her are that she is extremely talented and works really hard. She is proud to say that she works at Sight & Sound Theatre serving their ministry. Her favorite thing to do is crochet. Not only can she crochet anything you ask, but she is also an amazing artist and singer! She loves science fiction movies, card games, taking amazing photos of lightning, and her cat, Pepper, very much. Maria brings a lot of passion to Prep, and it wouldn’t be the same without her!
