Brea Jiu-Jitsu

Brea Jiu-Jitsu's Nolan Stuart defends his Pan Championship title in Flordia this past weekend in the black belt adult super heavy division. He defeated the current worlds silver medalist and reigning European champion in the final. He is not only representing Brea and our city, but carries the flag for all of the United States. There are just 12 Americans in the top 100 P4P in our sport. What we are doing at our boutique gym is exceptionally rare.

Nolan was just a 10 year old kid who lived up Puente behind the gym and joined with no expectations. He has been mentored by a single coach for his entire childhood, slowly but consistently building not only his skill, but love of the sport. Its the same coach you get teaching every class at our gym. No assistants. No revolving door of coaches. One coach, through generations.

We think that a potential parent sees something like this video and goes, "OH wow. Thats great, but this is so far away what I want for my son/daughter."

You're right....kinda. When your 10 year old joins our kids class, we are not thinking in the near term about making you the next Nolan. Most join for a fun thing to do with their friends, have a good time in the classes and have a enriching experience with lots of personality from Coach Dan injected in there. We have sensitivity for child development principles and maintain perspective on youth athletics. We have had generations of kids grow up here and be a defining place of their childhood.
..but it can be more. 99% of gyms have zero idea how to produce a top adult black belt American competitior. We do. On our website, we even tell you the gyms in so cal that also have this ability. Its not many and so cal has the most in the USA (5 gyms). We can properly identify talent and nurture it.
