I am thrilled to share some incredible news with our BBE family! For the first time in 10 years, BBE has earned a "C" for our School Performance Score! This achievement means the world to me, especially as someone who was born and raised in this community.

When I became principal, my goal was clear: to build our children into leaders who will, in turn, rebuild our community. This score reflects that vision and the hard work we’ve put in together. As parents and students, YOU DESERVE to feel proud of the school your child attends.

When we set our goal to earn a "C," we aimed for it within three years. But, thanks to the dedication of our students, teachers, and families, we did it in TWO! While our journey toward an "A" continues, today is a day to pause and celebrate this monumental achievement.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to our students, our teachers, and our parents. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! This success would not have been possible without each and every one of you.

Let’s continue to strive for excellence, and celebrate how far we’ve come. Together, we are stronger!

Good Evening Parents,

I do apologize for communicating so late in the day, however, I wanted to ensure that I could present a solution to you all. As many of you have learned, due to the shortage of bus drivers we will close schools on Friday, May 19, 2023. Field day was originally scheduled for Friday, however, with school closures happening, we will host our Field day on Thursday, May 18, 2023 and Awards day will take place on Monday, May 22, 2023 by invitation only. We have contacted all vendors to ensure the fun jumps and Rockin Ice will still be available! All parents are welcomed to come and attend Field day with your child and/or volunteer for part of the day. Please be sure to bring your lawn chairs. Students are to wear their uniform bottoms with their Field Day shirt. Rockin Ice can be purchased the day of the event. Concessions will be sold.
