Meet our staff of Professional Licensed Insurance Agents.

Colton has been working for Broad River Insurance since August 2020 as a customer service representative before deciding to get his license. While working in insurance, he worked in Athletics for Asheville YMCA, City of Asheville, and Asheville City Schools.

Colton lives in Haywood County and is proud to represent the Canton community. Born and raised in Eden, North Carolina, he is an avid golfer and coaches golf in his spare time. He loves his hometown teams, North Carolina Tar Heels, Carolina Panthers, and his alma mater Western Carolina University.

He is married to his high school sweetheart Morgan Folckomer-Shelton (who also works for Broad River Insurance) and has one beautiful daughter Layla Gray and a spunky Bernese Mountain dog named Zelda.
