Happy Independence Day!
Today, we thank God for the freedom we have in our country. We pray for our leaders at the local, state, and national level. We thank God for men and women who have and are serving our country. We ask for the forgiveness of sins for our country and ask God to correct every injustice and evil that occurs here. We seek the welfare of our country and thank God for every good gift that we enjoy here.

We pray you have a meaningful and safe celebration today and we look forward to worshiping Holy God with you tomorrow!

TONIGHT at 6:30pm - This will be a special night of Scripture, congregational singing, and prayer. It’s so good to come together in the middle of the week and spend some extended time in the presence of the Lord with His people. We are excited to share some new songs, worship through familiar favorites, and pray for each other. Bring a friend!

Myrle was a woman of unwavering faith. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church in Bridgeport, where she faithfully served as a greeter and on the welcome team. She treasured every opportunity to make others feel welcomed, loved, and at home.
