Colorblends House & Spring Garden

Heads up! The Colorblends display garden and Ursa Gallery spring art exhibition close for the season this Sunday, May 10. If you've been meaning to come, this is the weekend.

Alliums are starting in the front walkway, not yet blooming but in bud. There are a lot of tulips that still look good, despite the rains this past week. Camassia is starting and Spanish bluebells are blooming! Quiet Riot tulips are peak, daffodil Sir Winston Churchill is on its way out but is quite fragrant, and Poeticus Recurvus is blooming all across the front lawn.

The house is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 4pm. Free admission, no tickets, no reservations. Just show up, wander, take photos, ask questions.

Bring your mom on Sunday. Bring your camera. Bring a friend who keeps saying, “I really should come see that someday.” Someday is NOW.

Here are some early-morning shots from the Colorblends House and Spring Garden. You may need to look a little closer to see the blooms as the season starts to wind down, but there is still beauty everywhere. Many daffodil varieties are still holding strong, and the tulip blends have enjoyed the cooler weather.
