I found out I’ll be leaving on a disaster response deployment, and I’ll be gone for a few weeks.

Moments like this have a way of making everything clear… fast.

What feels ordinary isn’t guaranteed.
This moment you’re in right now is a gift.

Not because it’s perfect.
Because it’s been given.

The way they reach for you.
The weight of them in your arms.
The small, everyday things you don’t think twice about.

Those are the things you hold onto.

Even here, there is grace.

I’ll be stepping into something hard, but I trust where I’m being sent.
Right where I’m meant to be.
