If you know of a Bridgewater State alumnus or community member, who has excelled in their field or is making an impact in the lives of others, we want to know about them! The Bridgewater State University Alumni Awards are presented biannually in even-numbered years. It is our goal to honor those who should be recognized for their outstanding achievements and lifelong love of BSU.

Each award recognizes a recipient or recipients who have enhanced the reputation of Bridgewater State University by making significant contributions to their community, state and/or nation through professional service, public service and/or civic activities. Nomination period ends this Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

🏃‍♀️ Meet Kelly Sharkey '24, a member of Team BSU at this year’s Falmouth Road Race!

When asked what motivates her to cross the finish line, Kelly said, “BSU gave me unforgettable memories, incredible opportunities, and so much support during my college experience. As a graduate who relied on financial aid and scholarships, I know firsthand how impactful that assistance can be. Being able to give back and help students pursue their education despite financial challenges is incredibly meaningful to me.”
