A college hockey romance has perimenopausal women in a chokehold. And we need to talk about why. 👏

And no, it's not just because it's fun, nostalgic, and a little steamy. (Though obviously, that's there too.)

A prescription only helps if you can actually get it.

Yesterday at the Androgen Society meeting, The HRT Club hosted a conversation on one of the biggest challenges in hormone therapy: what happens after the right care plan is in place.

Lauren Darisse, COO and General Counsel of The HRT Club, led a discussion on how cost, pharmacy barriers, and insurance friction can stand between patients and the care their providers have prescribed.

At The HRT Club, we’re not here to replace your provider. We’re here to support what happens after your provider has already determined HRT is right for you, by helping make FDA-approved hormone therapy more affordable and easier to access.

A talking animal has better odds of leading a major film than a woman over 60. Let that sink in.

The same study found that when older women do appear on screen, they speak less, get fewer storylines, and are more likely to be written as passive or punchlines.

This kind of invisibility is not harmless. When women stop seeing themselves reflected in culture, it reinforces what they're already hearing everywhere else: that this stage of life doesn't matter.

We think it does, and it's time Hollywood caught up. 👏

Menopause research just got one of the biggest investments it's ever seen.

Melinda French Gates announced $215 million in new funding for women's health this week, with menopause and midlife care as a core pillar.

Part of it goes to The Menopause Society to expand provider training, so more doctors, nurses, and ob-gyns graduate actually knowing how to care for women in this stage of life.

This is a big deal, and not only because of the number.

When one of the most influential philanthropists in the world says menopause research is worth hundreds of millions of dollars, it changes how seriously the entire field gets taken.

She's said herself that she's trying to send a signal to other funders, and it's hard to imagine this one going unnoticed.

For so long, menopause was a topic women navigated quietly and mostly on their own. That's changing.

The research is coming, the training is coming, and the conversation is already louder than it's ever been.

Women in perimenopause and menopause today deserve real information and real options, and every investment like this one brings that closer.

Telling a woman with brain fog in perimenopause to "get more sleep" is like telling someone stuck in traffic to "just drive faster." 😮‍💨

Yes, sleep matters. But when night sweats, hot flashes, anxiety, and hormonal shifts are waking you up at 3am, "sleep more" isn't a solution.

Not sleeping well isn't the problem. It's a sign of one.👏
