Brigantine Police Foundation

From the moment Pat Snyder put on his Brigantine Police uniform, he was committed to being the best officer he could be. He constantly strived for excellence and he achieved it many times in his career. He continued this excellence at the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office in many different units. He was one of the best narcotics officers that the office had ever seen, earning him the Narcotics Officer of the Year award for the entire state. He went on to again become one of the best homicide detectives that ever worked at the office treating every victim as if they were his family, tirelessly working cases until they were solved. Pat's resume reads like a resume for three men. He went back to law school and earned his law degree which he put to use in the United States Air Force. He is an inspiration to every officer who wears the badge. He is the type of officer that officers model their careers after. The residents of Atlantic County were lucky to have Chief Snyder serving them for 25 years. He will be remembered for a long time as a symbol of excellence in law enforcement. Congratulations Pat on a well-deserved retirement.
