What a morning!
The sky was on fire with oranges and pinks.
There was no way not to see it!
There was no breeze at all and the stillness was so refreshing.

This morning, a sunrise appeared in a text image from my aunt in central Colorado.
She knows how much I love her wide-open skied sunrise. It is so full of quiet and softness...glorious.
A gift this morning after a week of severe loss. I'm grateful and humbled.
I'm seen, even if its not how I had hoped. But I am seen and loved.
Its the best gift to be seen as we see others-loved as we love others.

My favorite season to be here in Colorado.
The cottonwoods are slowly turning yellow in the dry riverbeds.
The smell of the ponderosa pines is warm and inviting.
