The good news— the NJ "Make Polluters Pay" Act has passed forward out of the Assembly Appropriations Committee and will likely be heard by the Senate Budget Committee this week with possible floor votes between Saturday and Tuesday.
This is the time we need to be making calls and contacting our NJ legislators to make sure they pass this bill (S-2338/A-3735)

Berks & Schuylkill Counties, PA; Harrisburg, PA: The Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board (EHB) has granted intervention to two environmental organizations seeking to join the legal action between the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (DHS ICE) and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) regarding the federal agency’s efforts to operate two former warehouses as immigrant detention facilities.
