LINDSAY VIGUE PHOTOGRAPHY

I got Brandi Carlile's new album, "Returning to Myself" on vinyl and am really loving how beautiful and personal it is to the love, depth and perspective in her life. This band is one of the greats and I am so glad to have seen them live several times.

This is the West Veil Nebula, but all I see when I photograph this nebula is a woman-a powerful being reaching across the universe with a fire in her belly and a candle in her hand ready to bring light to all-

And then I think:

I want to be her! I want to embody this energy of a colorful woman reaching far and wide across worlds with a fire in my belly and light in my hands.

So I sit in the morning stillness with a smile on my face, a fire in my belly for all the wonder and joy and magic this day will bring and a light in my hands for all those beings, whether human, plant, animal, sky and earth, that I come into contact with.
