I often get asked by clients that are accustomed to manned aerial LiDAR if they should wait for leaf-off conditions for project acquisition. All other factors aside; if you're concerned about data coverage under vegetation/canopy, >500 pts/m2 drone LiDAR can handle it. This example shows full leaf-on conditions & thick vegetation yet the underside view of the same area reveals the hidden ground features...with virtually no data voids. Bring it on!
