The National Funeral Directors Association Professional Women’s Conference (PWC) is always a special time bringing together a community of dedicated women in funeral service to share experiences and learn together.

We couldn’t be more excited to see everyone. Here’s what we have in store for the big event:

🎓 20 David C. Baue PWC Scholars at the Conference. Help us celebrate this year’s scholarship recipients! Stop by the booth to learn about all of our scholarship opportunities.

📋 A new resource on pregnancy and infant loss. We’re expanding our When a Child Dies program. In partnership with the Pediatric Palliative Care Coalition (PPCC), we’ve developed a new resource to help funeral professionals walk alongside families through one of the most tender losses there is. Join us for the “Held in Love” session Friday morning at 9:45 a.m. to preview the working draft.

🐚 Make a Splash at our booth. What will make the biggest splash in funeral service? Share your ideas, drop your card in the fishbowl, and you could win our Mermaid at Work gift basket.

🍹 Cocktails & Conversation. Friday, 3:30 p.m. RumFish Cabana Bar. Trade the conference room for the beach! The Foundation and IMPACT 1000 invite you to kick off your flip flops and keep the conversations going with your toes in the sand. First cocktail is on us. Come find us. We’d love to see you there.

Something special happened in Washington, D.C. last week! The Funeral Service Foundation was proud to support National Funeral Directors Association's Meet the Mentors, a program designed to foster leadership development, professional growth, and mentorship connections among early-career funeral service professionals. Meet the Mentors returned to Washington this year so participants could join NFDA's Advocacy Summit, meet national leaders, experience the impact of advocacy, and connect with top professionals during several days of learning and community.

For those who attended: we hope you're heading home inspired, with new friendships, a bigger vision for your career, and a deeper understanding of the national issues shaping funeral service today. The profession is better for having you in it. For those who want to be in the room next time, stay tuned! Learn more at: http://funeralservicefoundation.org/growth
