Stage 2: Who is God? – Stewardship, holiness, and the saints.

It is said that our lives on Earth are a blink of an eye when compared to life in heaven with Christ.

What does this mean for our time and money? How do we offer them up for the glory of God? As part of knowing God and His creation, we are also called to learn how to be His faithful stewards.

In Stage 2, participants will explore these questions alongside the call to holiness—a quality unique to God which He seeks to share with us, and a defining goal of our vocation.

But the path to holiness is not linear. It is full of twists and turns, and it looks different in every life. Look at the saints of the Church! Every time we step into an Orthodox church, we are surrounded by icons of people who dedicated their lives to Christ. Any relationship with a saint leads us into a deeper relationship with God Himself.

Do you have a connection with a particular saint of the Church? Let us know in the comments!

Stage 1: Who Am I? – Identity, reality, belonging.

“Life isn’t about a title. Life is about a person.”

As society and culture shift, Christ is often pushed to the sidelines. In Stage 1, participants explore pop culture, technology, vocation, and many other aspects of discovering who they are—learning to engage thoughtfully and through an Orthodox lens.

At CrossRoad, vocation isn’t just about choosing a career, and it’s certainly not limited to religious careers. Vocation is about a calling: a call to love God and live in relationship with Him in every aspect of life, both in our work and beyond it.

During their CrossRoad experience, participants will be challenged to navigate an increasingly digitalized and secular world with discernment, to reflect deeply on who they are, and to be the light of Christ in the midst of it.

How have you thought about your vocation?

☦️ CrossRoad Summer 2026 is Officially Underway 🥳

34 teens from across the US have come together in Boston to participate in a program of faith and experience like no other! They will be challenged to dive deeper into what it means to be an Orthodox Christian in the 21st century.

The program first explores an important question – Who am I?

What is your purpose? Your vocation? At CrossRoad, we define vocation as your unique and ongoing response to Christ’s call to love Him with heart, soul, strength and mind and to love your neighbor as oneself.

Stage one of CrossRoad helps participants explore all of these questions in meaningful and engaging ways.
